My Mock Gdiaper Patterns, information. Read before printing the Patterns!

UPDATED!!!! 1-6-2014

So if your reading this you are probably wanting my FREE Mock Gdiaper Patterns.  I have included the link to my other blog post where you can print the free patterns on this blog post, but please read this post as well, especially before printing, read this post, then go and print the patterns or you may not print the patterns correctly!

These are my patterns I created myself, please do not sell the pattern, however, it is ok to post this link on other blogs & websites.

This is my reproduction/imitation/mock/faux (my version) of gdiapers.

These are my Patterns for homemade Gdiapers, it took a lot of time to make these patterns, because the measurements are hard to get because of the shape of the diapers, & the medium & large I have are very used, one is the old version & 2 are the new versions & the different versions are different sizes, & it’s especially hard to make these since I do not have a size tiny/newborn, or a size small gdiaper. My son is skinny; he is 16 months & only 20 pounds & is in a large gdiaper. The Gdiapers have always been a little smaller on him than the weight range, so when I am cutting my fabric I add some inches to mine, so he can wear them longer, & I even added a preemie, & extra large gdiaper pattern too, because I do want to have at least one more child & I will definitely be making some of these for my future baby/s too. & there is no pattern out there for tiny or extra large Gdiapers.
I’m only including the patterns for preemie through Large, if you want the Extra Large &/or 2X Large use the measurements in the size chart below to create them.

Heres the link to my other blog post where you can print the free patterns, but please read this post as well, especially before printing.

Use this tutorial for my patterns. I haven't had time to make a complete tutorial yet.
& she has an amazing tutorial!

Weight in pounds for each size gdiaper
Preemie: 1-5 lbs
Newborn: 6-10 lbs
Small: 8-14 lbs
Medium: 13-28 lbs
Large: 22-36 lbs
Extra Large: 34-50 lbs
2X Large: 48+ lbs

When PRINTING the patterns make sure the PAGE SCALING is set to NONE, & it is NOT set to AUTO-ROTATE & CENTER PAGES. If the settings are not correct it will not print the correct size.

Also, when I make these I reverse the back & front, because I like them to Velcro in the front & not in the back like the regular Gdiapers do. The measurements are the same when you change it like I do; however, I just switch the back casing to the front & the front casing to the back. Also, I do not use Elastic in the waist areas, but I put the measurements below for them if you would like to put elastic in the waists.

Homemade Gdiaper measurements, not including ½” of a seam allowance, or bigger/smaller (whichever you prefer). (Measurements do not include seam allowance!!) I based these measurements off the normal Gdiapers.
